Well, I haven't been rating each module...was waiting for the final rating - but in case there isn't one I thought I'd rate them all here. Completely outstanding in content and delivery. I have acquired so many resources encompassing the broad aspects of not only end of life care, but was introduced to a return to community concept and the notion of "death literacy." I especially appreciated, something I've felt since I started training as a doula, many parts of this service are intuitive, natural (once the mystery is unveiled) and can be learned by anyone and in our role as doula we are there to empower the dying person and their loved ones to understand what is happening, what their choices are and if needed, assist them by finding resources that will support their choices. Your team has clearly learned from experience and intentional research into how death can be supported in the 21st century. Brava! So happy to be joining on for the full training.

The knowledge and support provided in this course has been something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The love and kindness felt in this class is palpable even when meeting at a distance and online…there is genuine love for what the Peaceful Presence Project does both on a mentoring and professional level and I am thankful to have had Erin and Elizabeth guide me in this area so very new to me. I had come to this training after my own experience with loss and was not certain how I could be of service to others and to have The Peaceful Presence Project show me all the ways I could engage with my community and truly be present opened so many possibilities that I had not expected. I am and will be forever thankful for this experience. In Loving Kindness Aylex Warmbier

I found the course to be incredibly informative and very well put together. Both Erin and Elizabeth were very clear, confident and extremely knowledgeable in the material being presented. The required material was not overwhelming, but gave great insight into the many aspects of End of Life Doula practices, from the practical (Health Care Directives etc) to the more emotional and spiritual (active listening and ritual). But they went much further by offering "Deeper Dive" material, sharing articles, websites and organizations, giving many resources to follow up on in the areas that are of interest to each individual participant. The weekly live Zoom classes allowed participants to interact, practicing skills and sharing experiences, creating a supportive and safe space to learn. I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in serving as a doula professionally, or to anyone who is simply interested in becoming more comfortable supporting their family, friends and community during the difficult times in matters involving terminal illness, grief, caregiving and the dying process itself.
